lol Yay! Je suis contente qu'ils te plaisent autant :) T'auras qu'à revenir sur ce post plus tard, il ne se sauvera pas... lol

Certain de ces icons ont l'air super simple, pourtant ils étaient tous très long à faire, surtout les mix de pics, mais aussi les coloring! Je ne voulais pas que le visage des vampires soit trop coloré (sauf pour mes version vert-jaune comme l'icon que tu as déjà uploadé) pour rester un peu pâle, donc j'ai colorié les parties séparément. lol C'est pour ça que ça a été si long, je suis une maudite perfectionniste. Sharpen ceci, blury cela, etc.

Je me suis encore uploader d'autre userpic de Twilight *blush* et je regarde pour voir si je pourrais pas en ajouter d'autre. lol *fangirls squee*

Twilight Rant!

Hey Alexia! These are all lovely icons! :D I hope you don't mind, but I need someone to discuss the Twilight books with, and since you were the one to stoke my curiosity and sent the e-books... well, I'm holding you responsible now for turning me into a fan.

I finished New Moon yesterday and am half-way through Eclipse now, which I am enjoying the most so far, in fact. New Moon was simply devastating, but I thought that the writing was so much better, so much more fluent. Got to see a whole new side of Bella and how she was handling her depression, and then her friendship with Jacob, which I find incredibly sweet. Of course it was a bit of a pain for me 'cause there wasn't much of Edward, and the first POV only crippled his part in the story further. Of course, predictably, they got back together and I was very excited about their meeting in Italy.

Amazingly, though, I abruptly got bored of the book after both of them reunited. It got very superfluous in the end, and I was disappointed at the absence of the gravity of them getting back together. I think I was expecting more of a bang, considering how badly Bella was hurting, and the months that they were apart. Of course I appreciated some of the parts where Meyer portrayed the pain of their separation quite succintly, but the rest was just dull for me. The character of Edward seemed almost distant in that particular book, and I actually rushed through the end. I was disappointed at the regression of the writing. It just wasn't as impactful any more, once the climax of the plot dwindled. I don't think I like the last chapters much. =/

What did you think of New Moon though?

BUT! Eclipse is making up for all that, and I am afraid that I will get too anxious waiting for the next book, haha! And I must admit, I'm really liking the Edward/Bella pairing, although find it so much less complicated than my usual Dramione, despite their very unusual romance. Maybe because Dramione is a fanon pairing, and there's so much more material to work with because of the details that come with the HP books.

Regardless, I am enjoying the Twilight series, and I am getting on with the fandom and looking at pictures and videos on the movie cast and everything. Not to mention I am very pleased with who they've picked for our main characters. Very suitable indeed! Which makes me more and more a Twilight fangirl now, and yes, movie!Edward is severely handsome, I won't lie. :D

New Moon is my least favorite book, I hated it when Edward was away and I was almost as depressed as Bella. Later I realized that the author was good to make me depressed, it's like we really get in the place of Bella, cause we also want Edward back ! lol I really liked the part in Italy too, those old Vampires are interesting.

My favorite is Eclipse :) I loved that we get to know more about the Cullens, like Jasper & Alice, I love them sooo much. Before that I was always worried for Jasper, thinking he wasn't as good as the other in fights or to hunt. But yay, he's a badass ! lol I'm not saying more on him, in case you haven't read the infos on his past.

I'm glad that you enjoy the books :) I'll give you something else when you'll be done with Eclipse ;p

There's communities to do promotion, you should post there instead: hp_promo and if it was for an icontest community at icontest_promo. I think it's allowed to promote in some shiper commuinities like dramione, dramionedrabble, ronhermione, ginny_n_draco, harryhermione, etc. Cause I feel it would be unfair if I allowed you to promote on mine. But I hope that some of those Comms would help you :)
