I've started saving the name of the maker as well unless I know I won't be using it in LJ and simply want it to look at lol If I happen to use an icon that I haven't saved the name to, I state that it's not mine.

By the way, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the random person who recently friended you lol I liked one of your icons that you used on someone else journal and went to see what other ones you have and noticed your from Montreal. I honestly never thought I'd land on someone else who lives here =P
